Just a follow up.



I could get all three listeners to run *if* I start the 10.2 listener first.
This works since the reason it won't start otherwise is that they've added
code which checks if anything is listening on that port and returns an error
message if there is.  This is obviously not a real solution though.



Oracle added this to resolve a bug where the wrong error message was being
given if you tried to start a listener when it was already running.  So to
fix a bad error message the entire functionality was removed.



I'm going to file an enhancement request but the analyst warned me it
probably won't be granted.



Ah, well.  The company is merging soon so I probably won't have to deal with
these systems by this time next year...
