ora-12500 on windows 2004-02-18 - By Jeffrey Beckstrom
The last time I used it was back in the Oracle 7 days and there was a performance penalty using it versus dedicated connections. Is this still true or is performance pretty much the same now.

This is just not true. I am currently using MTS on Windows NT and it works
just fine, thank you!

MTS used not to work on the Windoze platform. I can only suggest
solutions which end with the letter "x " or with "olaris ".
